A Little Bit About Me...

Much of my teaching style I learned while at Apple Computer in one on one computer teaching sessions. I tend to be a very enthusiastic and encouraging anyway, but Apple taught me an additional patience and a lead-learning-out teaching style that promotes self-discovery and avoids simply giving answers. Though it is geared towards adults, I have since found that adapting the patent and deliberate pace of LLO teaching to the learning level of younger children is effective and fun for both myself and the student. To be less specific, I was born to teach. I have fun doing it, and my goal is that my students have even more fun learning than I do teaching.

My passion is to teach and work with students of all levels and ages. Being and ASL teacher I must be dynamic and engaging as the instructor. From my experience I have learned different ways to interact with students to keep them interested in the material. My overall goal, of course, is to enable the student to comprehend the course material in a way that they can understand and relate to.
