Much of my teaching style I learned while at Apple Computer in one on one computer teaching sessions. I tend to be a very enthusiastic and encouraging anyway, but Apple taught me an additional patience and a lead-learning-out teaching style that promotes self-discovery and avoids simply giving answers. Though it is geared towards adults, I have since found that adapting the patent and deliberate pace of LLO teaching to the learning level of younger children is effective and fun for both myself and the student. A Little Bit About Me...

As a team lead I have mentored and taught younger team members for over 10 years in computer programming, planning, statistical analysis, budgeting, and mathematical computations. I have also taught them how to debug problems, test solutions, and how to successfully complete their tasks. I have over 20 years experience in a variety of fields such as Defense Industry (Department of Navy), Space Systems (Atlas V lauch vehicle), and commercial (Lockheed-Martin).
My teaching/mentoring/tutoring style is tailored to the student. I do not believe their is a generic teaching style that will help all students. Most people I have worked with have difficulty understanding a couple of key points and once that obstacle is overcome learning accelerates until the next obstacle is reached. I strongly believe the tutor needs to learn from the student as well to successfully teach.

My teaching style is highly student focused. Instead of providing only textbook reading and writing my classroom focuses on having the students work hands on to create models of the systems they are learning so they can develop their own understanding of the material. I believe that all students should have an interest in the workings of biology especially related to the human body. A priority of mine is to make sure the students are not rushed in their learning. I believe that each student should be encouraged to proceed at a pace that fosters learning and not rote memorization. I try to understand the student about problem which make them not understand for each items. I thought Mathematics and Physics are not so hard but just need to get answer of something that cause most of people not understand. As a parent of 4 children, I have a love for teaching in a variety of settings. I gain a sense of the students' interests and tie every subject back to something they are interested in. They need to "see" what difference their studies make. Learning needs to be a love, and I let my love for learning help to create that desire in the student. Once the desire is strong, the knowledge base grows easily. Patience and positive energy have served me well in tutoring younger students, and more mature students also seem to respond well to this approach.
As an engineering graduate from BYU, I have extensive training in physics and math, as well as a solid foundation in how to apply these studies to real life situations.
