My comments on tutoring Journalism : My first job was writing for the local newspaper as a journalist and photographer for the local newspaper in my hometown of Santa Fe. A lot of what I did for The Santa Fe New Mexican I use on a regular basis to improve on my writing style, my skills, grammar and creativity to allow the reader to become aware of what they're reading.
My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. Throughout my junior high school and high school years I worked closely with the editor of the school newspaper as a writer, and with the yearbook committee taking classes in journalism and photography. When I started pursuing my associates while enrolled at San Antonio College I took photography classes more for recreation and to hone my hobby and appreciation for photos, editing, and working behind the camera.
