I consider myself to exert a demonstrator model of teaching, meaning that I help children learn through demonstrating skills and then coaching students to apply these skills. I also focus on fostering self-confidence which can encourage any child to learn new and difficult skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a BS in Business Administration - International Business and a focus in Chinese. Because this program is relatively new, a degree in International Business required multiple Finance courses, which allowed me to learn many advanced statistical and mathematical concepts. In these classes, I often assumed an informal tutor role and helped my fellow students understand difficult points. In addition, I trained new employees during my tenure as Lab Manager of a campus computer lab.
