A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Education. I will be graduating this fall. Fall of 2014 I spent the semester tutoring a 12 y.o. girl in the English Language. This meant reading stories and answering questions about them, going over vocabulary, and learning new concepts. I began teaching at Shepard Academy. I taught Social Studies to middle and high school students. Shepard was a small private school specializing in meeting the needs of students who had a variety of learning challenges. Many were diagnosed with ADHD or ADD. After a three year leave during which I stayed home with my children, I began teaching at Tallavana Christian School.
