I try to engage my students in every way possible. Reading and reciting are great for vocabulary memorization, but I try very hard to bring the subject matter to life in a meaningful way to the student. Pictures, music, relevant historical information- anything to help facilitate learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a college student at Coastal Carolina University. Willing to help anyone that needs tutoring. I am a junior studying Biological Chemistry. I am knowledgeable in many different fields besides science. Every subject I've listed I can teach to anyone willing to learn. I am a local from the area so I have a good understanding of the curriculum in the Horry county school system. I am able to teach any (k-12) material.
My teaching style is different for every person. I have to asses each individual student find out what their strong and weak points are before they can fully benefit from my tutor sessions. Owned and operated my own daycare for 18 years, then went back to school to obtain my degree. I have attended various workshops as well as researching many Internet learning websites. I love to each students. I enjoy learning along with them. I enjoy them to teach me different learning styles the may have. I live for the no child left behind meaning i will never in my life stop helping a child because they can't catch on like others.
