My comments on tutoring ASVAB : I have worked with both 12 grade students and college level students on taking the ASVAB test. We work on all sections dealing with the test. Mechanical, word problems, math and englis.

I have taught k-12 and college level as well. I have a BA from CSUF and a teaching credential fro Chapman University. I have taught and coached volleyball,softball and basketball. I have taught both AP Government and Economics to high school students. I have taught junior science, math and social studies. I also have taught high school World, U.S.

I was born in Kiev, former the Soviet Union and at 1969 I was graduated from Kiev Pedagogical University with BA in math. FROM 1970 till 1991 I was a teacher of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus at Kiev High School #4. I am a direct teacher. I look for what works and try not to use what doesn't work for too long. Especially when dealing with dyslexics, too much "teaching" has led to failure. I like nothing better than to grapple with a problem until it is resolved. This may imply that I am a more tactile learner myself, but I have seen that I am balanced on all three major learning style fronts.
