A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored many kids in different fields including math, science, and English. I am a recent neuroscience graduate at Michigan State University and have quite a broad background in science so I would be able to help in many of the fields that I have listed for that as I have taken some advanced courses in that field. I also have experience working in tutoring centers and tutoring at my high school when I was part of the National Honor Society, in which I was more focused on math tutoring. Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I can teach in any style that suits the student. I am flexible with whatever excels the students learning the most.
I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. While I attended Okemos high school, I partook in volunteering experiences that dealt with tutoring. I worked as a elementary teacher in Romania for about 13 years. I used to work differentiate and with a combination of classes. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology. I love children and have many years of experience!

I taught third grade,fourth grade, and first grade all adding up to 14 years total experience. I also tutored in the evenings. I taught in a high achieving elementary school and welcome all different types of learners. I am willing to tutor at my home or a nearby library.
