My comments on tutoring Algebra : I am KY and TN state certified in middle school math. I taught developmental math and college math at two year colleges. I tutor Algebra most every day. For 20 years I worked for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, as a fifth through 7th Grade classroom teacher. I taught all of the academic subjects in various combinations, sometimes all at once to a self-contained class.
