My comments on tutoring Grammar : Grammar is the foundation of a language. My teaching method is grounded in grammar. Finding effective ways to break down in simple terms and explain complex grammar rules to students is my forte.

I am a native speaker of Russian. I was born and grew up in the former Soviet Union and I moved to the US in 2008. I have a bachelors degree in German and a masters degree in English with concentration in TESOL (Teaching English To Speakers of Other Langauages) from IUPUI (Indianapolis, Indiana). EXCELLENT EDUCATOR!!!

My teaching and classroom management style is very authoritative. I like to set clear and concise classroom rules and expectations. Teachers should take time to set rules in a visible place for students, review them daily, and have consequences when the rules are not followed. However, students will be acknowledged for doing the right thing through classroom recognition or a prize. Students should have a set routine each day. This will allow them to know and understand what to expect with the classroom. If the routine has to be changed, this is explained ahead of time and students are guided into the transition. This will alleviate discipline problems.
