First I try and determine what it is that the student does not understand. Next I try and evaluate the way the student processes infrmation so I can explain the problem adn solution 'in their language'. In college I majored in Chemistry with a year in Physics and Biology. In High School I received the Chemistry Award. In college I gave drum lesson. I played for eighteen years. I was an art dealer for years and am very familiar with the various styles and periods of art which adds depth to the teaching process.

With my BS I became a Research Assistant at the University of Alabama. I went to a Teledyne company to become their Quality Assurance Manager. With my MBA, I became a plant Chemical Engineer for Pratt & Whitney, then into Marketing and Communication Engineer. Started a land development company as their President. Left P&W and went back to school to receive my Doctorate. Started a church and ran missions and development in third world countries, for the past 17 years. This also included: Televison, radio, and internet outreach. I have since then written and published two books. I taught high school in Martin County primarily for gifted students for a couple of years when the school system lacked qualified teachers.
