I have worked in Mathematics Education for the past 25 years. I worked with elementary and middle school students for the first five years I taught. I have a BA in History with a minor in Archaeology, and am a member of two honor societies. As a history major, my fields of expertise include research, critical analysis, and writing. From 2006 to 2009, I tutored writing in all subjects at a local community college. As a tutor, I believe it is my job to facilitate the individual thinking processes and strengths of each student. I enjoy teaching all age groups. I especially like working with High School students.Initially, they can be quite a challenge to work with, but once they are engaged they are fully immersed in the topic! I enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages, although most of my experience has come from teaching college age kids.
