I learn visually and by reading the subject materials. I teach by showing students what they need to know by reading and using visual aids in my teaching style. I incorporate technology in my teaching because some students are hands on. I teach students in groups and individually.
I will be graduating from the University of Dayton with a Master's of Education degreee and I have a Bachelor’s degree in History. I love History and want to teach Social Studies in grades 4th-9th. In 2011 to 2012 I worked as a lead tutor for Academic Achievers in Muncie. My core focus was to improve writing skills. I would sit beside them while they played the pieces I had assigned to them to practice since the previous lesson. If they had problems or questions about something, I was there to help. We'd talk and laugh, and I hoped they learned through it all.
