I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. Throughout school, I also played every woodwind instrument except the Oboe. While in college, I took every Agricultural Education class offered, as it is my intended area of post graduate study, and gained a grasp of educational psychology, classroom management and lesson planning.

A Little Bit About Me...

Upon graduating from Northwestern College, I felt compelled to do more than make a difference as an educator; I wanted to be the difference for students I'd work with! I have a Bachelor's degree in education, and am certified by New York State as a Teacher Assistant. I have tutored students in Social Studies and English(literature, particularly), and have given bass lessons to students, both upright and electric bass.
