A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology, I have taken many classes in biology, physics, algebra, psychology, chemistry as well as organic chemistry. I learned how to plan, provide and educated students by teaching and tutoring sciences and English classes for four years. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from UCSD that majored in Human Biology and Psychology. I have 5 cumulative years of tutoring in a variety of subjects. I consider math my forte (from Algebra to Precalculus and Calculus), but I am more than proficient in other areas of science including biology, chemistry and physics. I have been tutoring since high school and but my earliest tutoring experiences began at home where I tutored my 4 siblings. I am easy going and will try my best to meet at your convenience and accommodate any needs. I am eager to help students achieve their maximum potential in math and science. It brings me much joy to see the look on a students face as they grasp a concept that they once looked upon with much adversity.
I prepare for tutoring sessions by asking any prospective students to please send me their study material prior to our sessions (at least a day please!). ... read more

I have been a substitute teacher in Long Beach, Santa Barbara, Glendale, and Palm Springs. I have had experience as a long term substitute in Senior English for a year at Palm Springs High School, also in Palm Springs, I did six months as a Special Education teacher at Cree Middle School. While I was in Glendale, I worked a year at Allen Continuation High School teaching English and Social Studies. I have had extensive experience preparing lesson plans, grading papers, helping students understand subject matter and providing parents with information about their child's work in class.
