My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Have taught Trigonometry at two community colleges and at ITT-Tech. Total teaching experience in the subject is 32 years

I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. Having taught for 2 universities, 2 community colleges and several private institutions I bring to the class both an academic/private industry point of view. Students are taught not only the specific details of the course but are also shown where the subject matter is used in industry along jobs which might employ this knowledge. Learning Can be Fun!

I like to allow the student to read the material once and clarity any areas that need more explanation. Then I will allow them to answer questions from the material read and help them where needed to choose the correct answer and understand the reason for the answers. I like to reward a certain level of correct answers with points that can be redeemed for interesting small prizes.
