I began to realize my love and aptitude for tutoring as a volunteer Japanese instructor for the Daikin home-stay program in 2006. The next two years I volunteered my time with Rosie's International Services tutoring Spanish. At the beginning of the Spring 2008 semester, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, Dr. Maier, submitted my name to a tutoring department at UAH, where I worked tutoring Spanish, Japanese, Latin, Chinese, and English as a Second Language until I graduated in Spring 2010. I love teaching and interacting with willing minds. Teaching "runs in the blood", where my mother is an excellent teacher in the Huntsville City School District, my father was a former teacher and all of my aunts and uncles functions or functioned in some teaching capacity. I believe that teaching should be made enjoyable and not laborious. The goal of teaching is to relate concepts and principles in such a way that a pupil is able to apply appropriately those principles in any situation that he/she may be confronted with whether in life or in a test. A Little Bit About Me...

I had a great opportunities to help and assist students when i attended high school and college. It gave me a sense of achievement knowing i was helping someone else to achieve thier goals, and bring them to understand things in an easier way. The subjects i tutored were mostly math, science and english. I aso assited a lot of graduate stidents as a lab assitant doing research.I have been tutoring now for at least 9 years.
