I am currently a college sophomore working as a Calculus TA, I'm double majoring in Chemistry and Physics.I am a native Chinese speaker, I have experience teaching students Chinese. I like science and math. I scored 89 on TOEFL, I scored 29 in the writing section. I scored 1850 on SAT, with 700 on math. My science GPA currently is 3.5, I took general chemistry, modern biology, organic chemistry I (currently taking orgo II), physics in math methods and quantum chemistry. I try as hard as possible to interest and engage the student in science by finding good learning opportunities in the lab, in the field and in the daily news. I am convinced that the natural world is a wonderful place that should be interesting to anyone. Once the student can find something of interest out there,we can use that as an entrance to other aspects of the science.
As a student at MIT I earned my BS and MS degrees simultaneously in a five-year period.
