I have more than 30 years of elementary K-5 teaching experience. I have taught all grades K-5, with the majority of my experience in primary K-2. I have had extensive training in teaching Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Math foundational skills. I have honed my skills and use proven strategies to teach the concepts. I have designed and implemented Reading and Math intervention plans for students at varying levels who are achieving below grade level standards. I have 3 years experience teaching first grade in an online setting. I have taught many students who are second language learners, who have been diagnosed ADD/ADHD, and who have learning disabilities/special needs with an IEP.
