During my four years of college and high school I had the opportunity to work as a tutor with different students in various subjects including spanish and french. Also, during my Master's I continued with this passion of teaching. In regard to the method, I learned that each student has his or her own way to assimilate new material. This is why I try to create a balanced between a collaborative communication, audio- visual scenes, traditional class participation, and logical organization of the material. In regard to the foreign language, I saw that creating a real life situation in class make the student more involved and willing to make the effort to speak. In the meantime, I always insert a grammar rule as part of a reading and speaking of a certain subject. I found students are more receivable to this method as opposed to just lecturing grammar rule. I learned my French in France formally and informally where I spoke only French for 20 years. I received my BA at the University of Florida in Elementary Education. I taught for 1 year as a teacher. I obtained my teachers certificate in France for teaching riding at the international riding school where you had to teach well as well as ride well to get an international certificate.
