I have also subsitute taught in a public school classroom. I was also the president of the TRIPLE E elementary education club at my college. I was also a leader at AWANA (a children's program). As early as I can remember I have always wanted to have a degree that involved children. So i decided to go to college to become an Elementary School teacher. I graduated from Black Hawk College where I earned my associates degree. After completion of my associates I then transfered to Western Illinois University. I majored in Elementary Education K-9. As an undergraduate student in India, I used to help my younger brother and cousins with school. Especially being in engineering my Math, Chemistry and Physics backgrounds are very strong.
