After working as an engineer for a major defense company, I pursued an MBA and started my own business. I use positive motivation with my students, explaining how subject matter being covered should relate to them and their future successes. I try to link the subjects with current events and how lack of knowledge on specific subjects can cost them either financially or impact their health and well being. For example, when I encounter a senior who is not participating in class, I give them an employment application to fill out, explaining if they have difficulty completing it, they better join the class.

I have worked as a math and physics tutor for several years at the high school and undergraduate university levels. My past experience has been primarily in introductory physics courses and upper-level high school math including trigonometry and calculus, but I am excited at the possibility of tutoring at any level.
