I teach in such a way that the student enjoys learning.
I taught many students Maths in a school. It was a wonderful experience. I also worked as the IT coordinator in a summer program. I helped students with their common IT problems and troubleshooting. I learnt quite a lot and i would love to try something similar. I like teaching students and helping them understand the main idea behind Maths. When considering my teaching style, it is difficult to explain a single process for teaching. When working with different people it is important to remain creative, inventive, and patient. Every person has different learning styles and it is important to recognize in that person what helps them understand more fully. Whether it is diagram and pictures, breaking a complex problem into many simple parts, comparing similar examples that are familiar to the person, or simply taking the time to make sure that the child feels comfortable saying "I don't know". All of these are useful tools, but in my opinion by far the most important is patience. Remaining patient when someone doesn't understand is the absolute most important thing. Too many children are willing to give up on a subject, all they need is someone who knows they can do it, and can show them how.

I have many and varied experiences in teaching music in the public schools and privately for over 30 years. I have my bachelors degree in music education-k-12 and I have almost finished my Master's degree in Music Education. My teaching experience includes classroom, vocal-choral, piano and band.
