A Little Bit About Me...

In May 2010, I will receive my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, with minor studies in Psychology and Arts Education. While studying, I had the opportunity to tutor children in the America Reads program at various elementary schools. I also had the privilege tutoring and assistant teaching in general education and art classrooms in the elementary setting. My extensive grammatical skills were gained from writing numerous research papers and education papers, as well as studying foreign languages. My last four years of college, tutoring literacy and instructing art, have given me the proper expertise to tutor.

As a graduate of one of the top state schools in New York, I have always believed in the importance of education. I have a BA in art studio, 2 years of biology/chemistry, and Calculus I&II, which has given me a well rounded education. I have also developed a higher level of writing skills through my research papers and laboratory write-ups. My latin classes have given me a better understanding of vocabulary and the derivatives of different languages from latin. As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
