I am Dyslexic and approach subjects from a different angle. I use a lot of visual techniques to help the understanding of the objective at hand. I try and figure out what works best for the student. A Little Bit About Me...

For three years, I have been a writing consultant for students at Rice University who took classes in rhetoric & composition. Some students have been ESL (English as a Second Language). I have tutored at least 25 students total (about 5 per semester), and so I have had experience with tutoring students with a variety of needs.
I recognize that each meeting is unique, and I have a great amount of patience and empathy. I am calm and open, and I want to do what I can for my students to feel at ease in discussing their writing.
