A Little Bit About Me...

I have been involved with sign language for six years now. I took two years in high school and two semesters in college. I also tutored four students for a year in the basics of sign. I am also involved with an all sign language church (no voicing), that has a number of deaf members, with which I interact weekly.
Basics of sign language with a focus on building vocabulary, sentence structure (syntax), and fluency.

As I have worked with such a wide range of ages I am familiar with the needs of students in each age group I have taught. A Little Bit About Me...

Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter. Throughout the last 10 years, I have helped my husband, brother, all of my children, etc. I have tutored them on how to write a well developed paper on their topic of choice, and have it read showing the expertise of the writer. I possess the same talents when it comes to proper grammar. I also teach Catholisim to the 8th grade once per week for 2 hours. I prepare them for the sacrament of confirmation.
