I believe as an educator you have to understand the topic you are teaching and the students your are teaching. As a teacher you are dealing with various levels of learning as well different personalities. I believe you have to be open to what works for the individual and the classroom. Many young students do not understand why they must learn and why it is important. We as educators must show students how education applies to all life, especially theirs. Passion and drive can be all the difference for a childs success. Therefore inspiration is vital and we must provide it to the best of our abilities.

Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter. Throughout the last 10 years, I have helped my husband, brother, all of my children, etc. I have tutored them on how to write a well developed paper on their topic of choice, and have it read showing the expertise of the writer. I possess the same talents when it comes to proper grammar. I also teach Catholisim to the 8th grade once per week for 2 hours. I prepare them for the sacrament of confirmation. I truly enjoy presenting people with ideas and having them gain the knowledge and capacity to gain the intended results. I have taught and mentored people within my work setting as well. My preference has always been to allow someone to think of ideas after you give them the tools they need; it becomes both productive and rewarding at the same time.
I had a wonderful experience attending MSMC.I learned a wide variety of skills and techniques throughout the Psychology teachings as well as about the intriguing study of Psychology itself. There were many opportunities to examine and research philosophies and perform actual research as a team.
