As a graduate of a sound Liberal Arts College, I've learned that the greatest asset I took away with me was the art of communication. As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. Often they do not have time to reteach the lesson and students begin to fall behind. With encouragement, guidance, and a new approach, many students can not only "catch up" but also stay succesful in that class.
I have been employed by the Cambria Heights School District for 14 years as a Title 1 educator. I currently am involved in curriculum math and reading. I have been very successful in academics throughout my education. I was valedictorian of my high school, and I received the top honors in English, French, and Accounting. I also maintained a 4.0 average throughout my college education.
