With over 20 years of tutoring experience, I am able to help with many subjects and all ages. I have worked with students from kindergarten through college in many subjects. As the English Department Chair I mentored and provided leadership to the staff I supervised as well as my fellow colleagues. I earned a BS in Education as well as a Certification in TESL. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching and use a variety of different methods. I incorporate different activities into each lesson to reinforce what we have learned. With my younger students I also incorporated a lot of music into the class that helped them with their verb conjugations, pronouns, etc. To keep the students' attention I am always keeping them moving, whether it be with an activity or just simply writing phrases on the board. I encourage them to be speaking in French constantly throughout the class.
I have been teaching at the Community College. I have students that range in age from 17 years old to 55 years old. I am enjoying teaching very much and would like to add to the teaching I do. A Little Bit About Me...

I've always enjoyed helping someone else. There is a certain satisfaction after seeing the look on their face of appreciation. I believe that one on one assistance is very helpful for students who are struggling because sometimes they are afriad to raise questions in the classroom, in fear of only them having trouble.
As a recent graduate from Salem State College, I have earned my BA degree in English, with a minor in History. Writing and reading is something I am very passionate about. I have learned different forms of writing, such as analytical, persuassive, reading responses, creative, and so on. With that experience, I have learned grammatical rules for writing that was very important to my success.
