A Little Bit About Me...

My education includes a teaching certificate in education and a B.S. in business with a major in marketing and a minor in management. In addition, I am currently taking courses through Baker College to obtain an M.B.A. where I have maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. throughout the last year. My experience includes tutoring students in reading, writing and elementary education. I also have taught marketing and management workshops for employees.
I enjoy teaching and helping children realize their potential. Every child learns differently so it is important to determine which method works best for each child by providing material in a variety of ways. I am patient, enthusiastic and thoughtful. My teaching style is laid back and comfortable. I like to use flash cards, fun games, and rhyming teachniques. I think children have to like their teacher to do well. Many of my former students have kept in contact with me over the years.. being invited to their graduations, weddings and other parties. I made a very good impression on them...as most often teachers can be forgotten as the years go by.
