A Little Bit About Me...

I taught Freshman Composition to high school seniors in the Dual Credit Program at Pierpont Community and Technical College, Fairmont, WV in 2011. Down to Earth tutor more worried about the academics than $

A Little Bit About Me...

As a person who is both respectful and fond of the English language, I feel that I have an advantage in opening lines of communication with students. Because my area of expertise is language, I find it easy to express myself in a way that a student would understand. An important aspect of teaching is not only expressing oneself eloquently, however; it is also vital to be a good listener. This is something I pride myself on. If a teacher cannot understand what a student finds to be confusing, then the teacher cannot accurately solve a problem.
