A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy sharing knowledge with anyone who can benefit from my experience. I love mathematics, statistics and physics and I attempt to pass that enthusiasm to my students. I understand that there are many people who have trouble with math and science skills and becaus of that I try to explain technical concepts with easy to understand examples before submercing the student into computations that are difficult. I think that my best attribute as far as teaching goes is the ability to get the main ideas across to any student by giving each student examples that they can understand and feel empowered by their understanding.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught in many areas of study. Since I was young, I taught my younger family members the importance of manners, honesty, care, and responsibility. I believe this has carried into my real-life career as a teacher. I have taught at schools such as Hope Hall in Rochester, NY and Lemoyne Elementary in Syracuse, NY. There I helped my students with their basic subject courses during their class time period. I have taught dance at Kami's Kix Dance Studio which has helped me to gain stronger classroom management skills as well as gaining a thicker patience. I graduated high school in 2000 with a local diploma and then went on to college at Utica School of Commerce. I graduated in 2002 with an Associated Degree as an Administrative Specialist. I have worked at a few different jobs and just went back to college again at Utica School of Commerce and got my certificate degree as a Medical Office Assistant.
When helping others, I do it two ways. I tell them how to do it and guide them through it. Other times, I show them how to do it. However, I do not do it for them. I would love to have the chance to help children succeed in their education! It would be an honor!

I am 20 years old. I graduated from high school with honors. I was in advanced english. I also graduated with honors from Madison-Oneida BOCES. I am currently in college for Business Management, and I am also studying Psychology. When I finish I want to work with teenagers. Everyone goes through a hard time when they are teenagers, and I believe I can help. I have an older brother who was struggling through high school, and I helped him to graduate. My younger sister is now in high school, and I help her anytime she needs it.
