I am currently teaching at Kids College in a community college in Orange County. I have the passion to teach mathematics from elementary to high school level in a classroom setting. In addition, I also teach 1-1 sessions for the No Child Left Behind. I love participating in this program because the children need my help and it's rewarding the growth and progress that I see from day to day.
One of my best attributes is patience. I try to explain concepts differently if students don't initially understand. Teaching math requires this because there are many instances when students lose their focus. A Little Bit About Me...

I love tutoring to all my students because It is such a pleasure to see them solving a problem and enjoying their accomplishments. I believe everybody will come to enjoy math as I do, once they realize how much fun it is.
I have a B.S. Degree in computer engineering and minor in mathematics which enabled me to be very knowledgeable in math, physics, biology and chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

Over the past 15 years I have had variety of different teaching experiences. I taught literature as a TA at UC Santa Barbara while studying for my Masters. I have tutored K-12 students in both Math and English. While studying for my undergraduate I assited in running a homeless shelter where I taught many of the children reading, writing, and math. I have a passion for teaching and am a mother myself and understand the true value of educating our youth.
It truly depends on the student and the subject. I try to adapt my teaching style to what the student needs. If one approach is not working, then we can work together to find an approach that does. I believe that it is important for the student to be able to relate to the teacher and it is the teachers job to create that connection.
