My comments on tutoring Study Skills : Throughout the years, I have helped all the various students to improve their study skills by becoming more organized, creating memorization tips and practices, and finding the lack in each student's study habits with an effort to improve in that area.

I have varied and vast teaching experience (please see individual subjects below). I have a Master's and Bachelor's in French with a minor in Italian and am also a practicing LPN who has been working for the past 8 years in Rehab/Long-term Care and have participated in First Coast Technical College's Preceptor Program, where nursing students are paired with a mentor to practice clinical skills and obtain on-the-job training.

I don't believe the grade of "F" should stand for failure, but for feedback. It means the way you are doing something isn't working correctly. I use Thomas Edison experiment getting the light bulb- took him 99 attempts- if he quit after the tenth try we all might be using whale oil today or kerosene at night to read. I believe all children have the potential to learn however some children need to be motivated more about the importance of learning. I am willing to listen to a child to help them out plus I try to display the values of the Boy Scout Law and oath which includes kindness.
