I have been taking classes at Daytona State for 1 semester, but like my credentials said, I have gotten awards through them from my Middle School, and high school. I have been tutoring since 2003. Improving Student Achievement

I believe that all children have the ability to learn. They each learn in a different way and at different rates but they all are able to learn. I promote a variety of teaching styles. Differentiated instruction is vital for student success. I believe in exposing students to different types of learning. My students were labeled with varying exceptionalities, such as: ADD, ADHD, blind, deaf, speech/language delayed, mentally handicapped, and physically handicapped. I also taught home-bound students, who were too ill to attend school. Each child is different. I always try to notice and acknowledge what benefits each student, as I think this applies to all forms of teaching from academics to athletics. Getting on their level is what ultimately benefits the child from the get go and gains their interest. If I'm interested, then the child is interested. I do my best to make sure the child is setting their goals and doing their best to achieve them in the way and style for which they are best suited.
