Writing has always been a passion of mine. My father is a writer/editor, so I grew up reading and writing often. In high school, I volunteered in the Writing Center for two years. We helped students with any part of the writing process, from brainstorming ideas for a paper to editing a final draft. I decided to follow my passion into college, and I chose to go to Florida State University to major in Creative Writing with minors in Communication and Psychology.
