I am a strong believer in the Socratic method of teaching, which from my understanding, means asking the student questions regarding what they already know about a concept in order to customize the lesson and/or "lead" them to the answer. As the school I taught at was private, the students were very competitive. I found my lectures and class activities reached 90% of the students. The remaining 10% were the students I especially loved to instruct. These students had difficulty learning the subject in a traditional fashion, so I was forced to explain the subject from a different angle.
