I am a retired Special Education teacher. I was employed by Madison Consolidated Schools until this past June. The first 24 years of teaching was in an elementary school with experience in grades 1 - 6. I then moved to the Junior High School for the last nine years of my career. I spent the majority of these years with 6th grade students teaching math and Language Arts. The last three years I was teacher of record for the same group of students, moving with them through 8th grade. I continued teaching Writing to 6th grade specoal Ed students.

After graduating with a degree in elementary education from Goshen College, I have gained many valuable experiences in the educational field.
