A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring my fellow classmates was an integral part of my college experience. At Yuba College, I tutored math and chemistry in the College Success Center for two school years. I was in demand, as even fellow tutors would seek my help. I was also requested by my physics professor to tutor physics in the Hard Math Cafe on campus. While at UCI, where I graduated Cum Laude with a mathematics degree, I would often help fellow students, even during the professor's office hours when the professor was busy with another student. I enjoy imparting my skills upon those I help, resulting in increased insight and understanding for those tutored.

After earning my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, I lived in Germany, Ohio, and Central California while trying to figure out my place in this world. I settled for two years in Salinas, California where I taught pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry to junior high and high school students. A Little Bit About Me...

During my time as a student studying Biological Sciences, I encountered varying levels of math and science ranging from statistics to calculus and basic biology to various types of advanced physiology. I have taken the opportunity to tutor fellow classmates and younger students in science through the biological honor society, Omicron Theta Epsilon. I have also tutored children for the past year in science; for the first half of the year I tutored students from grades 3-6, and for the second half I tutored students from grades K-3.
