From this I learned at a very early time in my life that it is crucial to cater to each individual students needs. I would love to say that I have only one teaching style but I cannot tell you that. What I can say is that my teaching style will adapt to the student. When you have a student that catches on fast you are able to test their ability to understand what was taught in numerous ways. However for a student that may not grasp a concept as easily a more structured approach may be a more beneficial tool. I am capable of adapting to the student, the goal is for them to understand.

I have loved to teach every since I was a young girl playing school with my younger siblings. Since that time I have observed several different teaching and learning styles. As an instructor, I try to incorporate several different teaching styles to accomodate the students in my class. Currently I am a organic chemistry lecturer at a local college but I have always been an advocate of education. I have a PhD in organic chemistry and a BS in chemistry.
