A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an elementary school teacher for the past four years. I teach at a private school in Columbia, SC. I currently teach fourth grade, and pride myself at being a phenomenal math teacher. Teaching academics is extremely important, but also teaching character education is important also. 2004-2011 GED Instructor for Greenville Technical College and Greenville County Schools. I was the teacher and leader of a satellite GED class based at Berea First Baptist Church in Greenville SC. In addition to designing and teaching daily lesson plans, I assessed students' aptitude for our program through placement testing. My responsibilities included keeping records, reporting regularly to our supervising agencies and working with volunteers. My comments on tutoring GED : This is my specialty. I have MANY Books, websites, printouts, etc. to help. I have worked with a dozen students from high school to 60 years old. I can give references. I can help those who have taken the many prep classes offered at high schools and learning centers, yet still failed to pass the test.

I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list.
