I am a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping students achieve academic success. This past year, I spent time as an SES Lead Tutor after school and in-home and tutored (Reading - phonics based - and Math) many children in grades K through 7th that held IEPs. I believe that each child learns at their own Pace and if they are tested, the gaps in their education will appear. Once these gaps are addressed, they can move forward with their peers. I have been involved in various aspects of teaching and tutoring for the past 14 years. I have tutored students one-on-one for reading, writing, and math, and have taught private music lessons for voice (since 2005), violin (since 2005), and piano (since 2004). I also taught fourth grade in an elementary school. I have taught children to read before kindergarten (one fluent by age 2-3, one fluent by age 3-4).
