My comments on tutoring Economics : Whether it is help with a macroeconomics course or the international political economy as a whole, I offer academic tutoring that is coupled with real world knowledge of financial markets and business practices. I have been tutoring in this field for five years.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my education I have always prided myself in being an excellent student. Although this extended to all my subjects, my most passionate courses have always been in mathematics. This has been true from elementary all the way through college. Once in high school, I began tutoring students in this subject. It has always been fun for me to take a subject that makes somebody cringe into something they actually enjoy.
My favorite approach is to take it slow. I find that to teach a student a specific field of knowledge there is almost always a hindering block that cannot be seen at first glance. My teaching style is very specific to each student I tutor. I try to tailor my thoughts so that any student at any level in the subject can understand me. At the teaching center, the focus was to help guide the student to get the correct answer and not just give the answer. Sometimes the thinking process to achieving the correct answer is more important than the answer itself. I also try using diagrams and figures when they are called for to explain some of the topics. I frequently use positive reinforcement so the student feels even more encouraged to learn.
As a microbiology student, I have taken rigorous courses in the sciences as well as math.
