A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching has been a lifelong practice of mine, whether in a job by choice or in my life by happenstance. I consider myself a natural teacher. I taught Sunday school in high school. I then went on to get a degree in education from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. I taught several years at the preschool level. Since having my son, I have spent many hours volunteering in the public schools. I understand that due to the sheer numbers and environment of our schools, there are many children that may get lost in the system. I know that I can make a difference in the life of a child by helping them one on one.

I enjoy learning new things and sharing what I've learned with others. My background includes a variety of different jobs including retail management, the military and banking.
