My comments on tutoring Logic : Never taken the course, but have an extensive background in Math.

As a Graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, I have obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Minors in Math and Biology. I have gained knowledge in most of the sub-sets on those subjects as well as High School or College entry level in most other academic subjects. I have tutored before as a volunteer, in paid sessions, and have often helped out friends at various educational levels.

I feel if that you really want to learn a subject, that you should try teaching it. I am very friendly and laid back. I try to instill humor and life experiences with my teachings to help the children relate to me or the materials. I love the look of child when the wheels are turning in thier head. Even though I graduated with a degree in Business Adminstration I hav always enjoys tutoring. I have been tutoring my younger neices and nephews just because I enjoy so. After high school, I recognized in myself a desire to work with elementary- and high school-aged children. I have always been at the top of my classes and was heading for an engineering school before I discovered a love for helping kids. I do not have any teaching experience but I spent many summers working with these age groups at camp and enjoy interacting with them. I also easily understand most high school subjects and enjoy helping students find the answers they are looking for. I am a creative teacher. I love to design my own lessons to engage students and compliment their learning styles. I have experience teaching traditional classrooms, but my passion is non-traditional education. I love working one-on-one with students or in small groups.
I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Secondary Education and am certified in the State of Michigan to teach 6-12th grade English and math. Along with completing student teaching, I have substitute taught in various districts as well as tutored homeschool students.
