Teaching is my calling. I devote my time to helping students of all ages and ability levels understand mathematics. I plan to take a pre-assessment and see what the student needs the most help in. I then devote the time needed to that area and continue to give hints and utilize techniques so that the student understands the material better. I have valued teaching since I was in elementary school. I believe that a teacher has one of the most important professions, as they teach and guide the future of our country. Since I realized my continued success in not only learning mathematics, but being able to teach others that did not understand mathematics, I decided that teaching was the right path for me. Some students are quick learners and their teacher only needs to go over the lesson once; other students need to hear the subject content in a different form to understand it.
