I was also a member of a team that provided training to Nestle employees globally on a regular basis. 1968-1980: Taught Chemistry (College Level) at the University of the East in the Philippines and at Los Angeles Valley College (Community College) in Los Angeles. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a PhD student in Chemistry and hold education in high regard. I believe education is the key to success in any field. I have a excellent grasp of the Sciences and Math coupled with excellent writing skills. From my undergraduate years I have tutored and mentored students in subjects ranging from Chemistry to Math, SAT, both Verbal and Quantitative sections, and English.
I strive to make the student better and ultimately independent. I teach to instill the love of education in the student and give the student my best. I have earned two MS degrees and a BS degree in chemistry in my academic career. I have two-and-a-half year experience of teaching undergraduate students at the University of Iowa. I received a very good evaluation from students which I would be happy to share with you. I have also passed SPEAK TEST along with the English Language Performance Test which is a requirement to be able to teach at the University of Iowa.
From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others. Therefore I always try to teach the subject in a manner that will consider all the different levels of students and in which questions are encouraged.
