I graduated from the University of Iowa in 1989. My degree is in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading. I taught in the same school district for 20 years where I gained experience teaching first, second, third and sixth grade. I am currently employed as the Elementary Student Advisor with the school district that my previous school district recently merged with. A Little Bit About Me...

From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others. Therefore I always try to teach the subject in a manner that will consider all the different levels of students and in which questions are encouraged.
I have earned two MS degrees and a BS degree in chemistry in my academic career. I have two-and-a-half year experience of teaching undergraduate students at the University of Iowa.
