As the son of a teacher, education has always been an important part of my life. For the past 25 years I have had the pleasure of working with youth in many different capacities. I have coached, mentored, tutored and taught all ages. After receiving my teaching certificate in 1998, I spent a few years working as a substitute teacher teaching in all subject areas for all grades. In 2001 I began teaching Physical Education and working as a tutor for students who were temporarily removed from their school for various reasons.
Working with youth is a great passion of mine. I want every child to be successful. I have taught school for over thirty years, including several years as working in a Random House Reading Lab while working as a Teacher's Aide. I am a published author,have worked a few years as a highest-paid stringer for the Kodiak Mirror as their religious writer, and have taught students from kindergarten through ninth grade. Also I have substituted in high school. I can teach all subjects in primary grades, and Language Arts in higher grades.
