I traveled to Valparaiso, Chile for 6 weeks where I lived with a host family and carried out a research project which involved me giving conducting surveys with residents in Spanish. I have also had the opportunity to live abroad in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil for 6 months where I again lived with a host family as well as attended school side by side with other Brazilian students.
